(Photo by Doug Benc/Getty Images)Auburn and LSU are set to highlight college football’s Week 3 slate today. The two Tigers are set to meet at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Alabama later this afternoon. It’s one of the biggest games of Week 3, with the two undefeated, top 15 teams meeting in a pivotal early-season SEC game.ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum had said earlier this week that the loser of this Auburn-LSU game is probably “done” in the SEC West race.“It’s really important because, if you lose the game on either side, you’re done,” Finebaum said during an appearance on ESPN’s First Take this week. “Because you still have to play Alabama in your league. You still have to play Mississippi State, which is good. They went on the road and beat Kansas State, which isn’t a bad win. You don’t survive this and have much of a chance unless you start knocking people off.”It’s not a ridiculous thought. The SEC West is obviously stacked, with No. 1 Alabama at the top, and an early-season loss would really hurt.Finebaum recently appeared on ESPN and made his winner prediction.“I think Auburn is going to win comfortably,” Finebaum said on SportsCenter.Auburn is a sizable, double-digit favorite. Not many analysts seem to be picking LSU.Who are you picking?Auburn and LSU are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. E.T. The game will be on CBS.
